Description

“Alligator Wine”/”There’s Something Wrong With You” by the wildest Rock ‘n’ Roll clown-cum-blues-shouter of them all.

 

USA Okeh 4-7101 for radio play only.

 

This is a super-super rare white label USA demo copy of what has become a legendary recording by Jay.

 

The playing surface is unmarked on both sides with the only label blemish being to the left (as you look at the photo) of the title word “Alligator” which is how it was when it joined my collection in the early-1960s.
