Full gloss, super clean vinyl is NM on Side 1, Pristine. Side 2 has 1 very faint small hairline that is 100% inaudible; viewed under hard bright light. Labels are immaculate both sides.

COVER is VG
Generally very nice looking cover has a mostly split spine that is carefully and cleanly closed up with archival, acid free document repair tape (strong and nearly invisible). Otherwise strong VG+ with some edge, corner creases and old store price sticker u.l. front corner.

Screamin' Jay Hawkins was a truly demented R&B shouter, as evidenced by the classic "I Put a Spell on You" and he had a certain warped genius that informed a number of other surprisingly good original compositions. Wild, uncompromising songs like Little Demon, There's Something Wrong With You, Hong Kong and Yellow Coat. Most of his classic period songs were recorded on 78 rpm for OKeh, and the 14-track compilation FRENZY commits most of the best of these to LP. along with these and I Put A Sell On You itself, are his incredible performances of Lieber & Soller's Alligator Wine and the insanely wild Frenzy itself.
Perhaps nothing ever quite touched "I Put a Spell on You", but the songs that came the closest are here.
