Description
This is the ultimate gift for somebody who truly loves good punk rock. The item of for bids is a hondo guitar once owned by Ben Weasel (lead singer of Screeching Weasel..one of the greatest punk bands of all time). I bought this guitar when ben was auctionning his guitars off at Screechingweasel.com many years back. It's been one of my prized possesions but now I need the money and am forced to sell it.
If my memory serves me right, this is a 1987 Hondo guitar and was used to record the self-titled album, boogadaboogadaboogada and some tracks on a few others. This was one of Ben's first guitars and he used it as one of his backup guitars on later tours. There are alot of cool stickers on the guitar and the guitar case that really make it stand out. There is also a Screeching Weasel concert setlist taped to the guitar that was used on tour.
This guitar comes with the guitar itself, the guitar case, and a letter that I saved that Ben wrote stating that he sold me the guitar. I 100% guarantee the authenticity of this guitar. This is truly a priceless collectible in the punk world. I'm not completely insane so I am putting a reserve on this auction (less than what I paid) and if I do not get my reserve I am not going to attempt to sell this again. I will only charge exact shipping charges with whatever method the seller prefers and not a penny more. I do not know how much shipping would be but expect anywhere from 35$ - 90$...it is a guitar afterall and it is not light.
