Description

 You're looking at a test pressing for the self-titled Screeching Weasel 12" LP. This is Screeching Weasel's debut LP from 1987. This test press is for the UK version put out by What Goes On Records that was released in 1988 (a year after the U.S. version on Underdog Records was released). The test pressing was pressed by Shigaku Trading Co. Ltd. in London.

Affixed to the white sleeve is a one-sheet (called a "news release" here) with information about the record.

There are very few of these in existence, and this is the only one I've ever seen.  The test press was pressed on black vinyl with a white test pressing label on one side and a pink label on the other (on which someone wrote Screeching Weesel (note the spelling error)). This test pressing is in excellent condition and has only been played once while in my possession.
