Screeching Weasel's 1st release. According to frontman Ben Weasel, Underdog Records pressed 1000 copies and licensed it to What Goes On in the UK, who pressed 2000 copies but never paid the band royalties for the release. Again, according to Ben, the Underdog pressing sold out in 3 months but the label refused to repress the record, instead giving the band back the tapes and the rights to the release. The album remained out of print for 10 years, partially because the bassist Vinnie Bovine, who was fired in 1988, allegedly wanted too much money from the band for the right to release it and partially because of Ben's dissatisfaction with the record itself. In 1997, an official release was licensed by VML Records in order, according to Ben, to combat bootlegging. This version came on CD only and included 12 bonus tracks, mostly demos and unreleased songs from the same era.
