A quite incredible single sourced collection of vintage 30 years old upwards modern Jazz and desirable classical pressings, all in unplayed and mainly factory sealed condition, in fact mainly double sealed, with the factory seal overbagged in a larger sealed poly outer. This whole collection has been in cool dry upright ideal storage for all its life until a few weeks ago, when I got first offer on them. An opportunity to bid on such a high quality never opened collection is a rare chance. Bid now to ensure more are offered. I could quite happily keep plenty of these!.
Audiophile Sealed NEW Old Stock.
Probably the ultimate Organ recording!. This was recorded in 1976 and is minimal path analogue on to 30ips master tapes, as noted lower down. A four lp set in a white cloth box, with most of its shrink intact, this is unopened new old stock from 30 years ago. One of these without the box went for a healthy three figure sum, this should be more desirable as a more complete set. Recorded at the Dwight Chapel, Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut in 1976 on the Von Beckerath Organ. Charles Krigbaum was the head of the Organ Studies Program at Yale University. French Pressing on virgin vinyl mastered by Bob Ludwig using specially designed Mark Levinson Audio Systems equipment. to quote the history "his hand-built stereo components soon became a reference standard within the consumer-audio industry. These pieces were not designed to a price point but rather created to overcome any known limitations in playback. As he told Adrian Low, president of Audio Excellence, in a 2009 interview, “Dick [Burwen] gave me the concept of using the highest quality of engineering, parts and materials in the service of music reproduction.”
Products crafted with this philosophy, including the LNP-2 Preamplifier with its peak-reading VU meters that could capture the first quarter of a 20kHz waveform, today are regarded as the cornerstones of the ultrahigh-end audio component industry.". Thick vinyl in lovely masterings - I have heard this at a friends hi-fi shop a few years back - truly exceptional sound. 1 more other levinson in the list also.
Note some marks to the cloth, because it is white and this is 38 years old!. Box otherwise intact and mainly covered in its original shrink as noted.
