THE BEATLES LP BEATLES FOR SALE (Odeon/EMI Records 1 C 062-04 200)
I believe this is a second pressing manufactured in Germany to very high audio standards. On the top right cover is the boxed selection number. I assume that these German pressings were not usually shrink-wrapped, but those that were imported to the US in the 70s were given a secondary shrink wrap while they were still new & unplayed. Cover has great color & reflective gloss; looks really fine with no creases, crumples, rugging, speckling or edge wear. On the back cover is the price tag from Harmony Hut (which went out of business in the early 80s) and the sticker for the distributor, Peters Intl. On the front, the shrink wrap is just about all intact with no tears and a tiny quarter-inch hole. Six-inch tear in wrapping on back looks reasonably neat. No sign of warping or harmful handling or of anything heavy placed on record. With 14 enjoyable songs from those loveable moptops. Cover songs by Charles "Chuck" Berry, Lieber & Stoller, 2 by Carl Perkins & Buddy Holly. LIner notes by Derek Taylor. Produced by George Martin. Liner notes are in English & German.
DISC - MINT SEALED
We give great importance to grading our items accurately. The original owner took good care of this record & stored it well. No sign of any wear on the disc: no blemishes, scratches or other marks. No evidence of anything heavy placed on record. No warps. Album appears to have been stored straight up in a safe way.
COVER - MINT SEALED
Plastic wrap is mostly intact with no front tears or tatters. Cover shows no seam splits, abrasions, scuffs, writing, ink markings or color fading. Sharp print & good color. No rubbing & virtually no ring wear. Slight corner banging which does not pierce a sixteenth-inch of the shrink wrap. Back cover shows neat 6-inch tear in shrink wrap. No water damage, cut-out marks, speckling or cuts. No waves or creases.
