One of three sealed Backhaus Japanese pressings in our list as I add this. 1974 pressing Sealed New Old Stock Audiophile Japan Mono Wilhelm Backhaus in the 1954 studio taping of the Beethoven Diabelli Variations. The Uk reissue was in fake stereo, so this is the best sounding true mono you can find. My understanding of this is that it was bought 20+ years ago as new old stock, quality checked visually then and shop sealed. I am assuming from similarities to others I have in my personal collection that this is a King FFRR labels pressing, and I am not opening this unless the buyer asks me to for shipping after payment has been made. The high quality master tapes here receive their finest transfer for users of stereo high end carts, or a fine tipped mono. This is the best version of this offered for sale in recent years, as a sealed 48 years ago pressing is hard to find, might be the last one now!.
