Description
Sheffield Labs Records stereo TLP-27 still factory sealed. "The Moscow Sessions", with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Lawrence Leighton Smith and Dimitri Kitayenko. Recorded in Moscow in 1986, this is the third record of a set of three.
These recordings featured Russian and American music, with Lawrence Leighton Smith conducting the Russian works, and Dimitri Kitayenko conducting the American works. This disc includes the Shostakovich Festive Overture, Glazunov, Valse de Concert, Copland Appalachian Spring, Gershwin Lullaby, Griffes, The White Peacock, and Ives, The Unanswered Question.
