THIS auction is for Nas 'The Don' 7" single sold on Record Store Day in 2013 for Secret 7".
I have had the hand-drawn artwork by Tom J Newell, professionally framed, and this is included in this auction: Nas 'The Don' 7" single and the framed record sleeve artwork.
The framed artwork measures approx: 31cm x 31cm.
I have enjoyed the artwork, the record has been played maybe two or three times, for the passed three years but now need to make room on my walls for new purchases.
Secret 7" - 700 one of a kind 7" single - 100 7" singles were pressed of the 7 artists' songs chosen for the sale, then various artists were invited to produce original artworks on the record sleeve. The musicians and songs were:
Elton John - Bennie and the Jets Public Enemy - Harder than you think Haim - Better Off Jessie Ware - Still Love Me Laura Marling - The Beast Nas - The Don Nick Drake - Rider on the Wheel
Also included is a handwritten card from Tom J Newell.
The item will be send securely wrapped and via ipostparcels couriers.
If you chose to collect in person, perhaps on Bank Holiday Monday, I would prefer cash on collection, the item is located in Brighton.
I've priced these two records at very competitive prices to encourage bidding. It has encouraged many, many watchers however, not many bids. I will not leave these items up for a mass scrum in the last seconds. I respectfully suggest if you are interested in buying these items you place a bid, otherwise if no more bids are forthcoming I will be ending the auction on Saturday.
