Description
Original Pink Floyd band 45rpm 7" vinyl single in original Columbia EMI company paper sleeve, released on Columbia Records (UK), cat: DB 8214, year 1967. Titles are "See Emily play" c/w "Scarecrow" (songs credited to legendary Syd Barrett), a non-album "A" side this was Pink Floyd's second release and first real Hit, making top 10 in UK.
Genuine first release item, it has the then customary 'push out' middle piece. Stamped Matrix numbers on the grooves are 7XCA 30214-1 with "K T" near 12 o'clock and "RA" near 3 o'clock, the other side has matrix stamp 7XCA 30215-1 with "K T" near 12 o'clock and "RA" stamped near 3 o'clock.
This item is in very good condition, vinyl has no scratches or visible damage, not warped, it was a private import and has been stored well. The sleeve has writing of the run times of the 2 songs, but is the original Columbia EMI sleeve of the day. A truly rare collector's item now.
