Up for bid are 5 (MOOD) Seeburg Background Music Records. Labled on the records as Seeburg Music Library, Inc. Records play at 16 2/3 RPM and were played on a Seeburg 1000 machine in the 60's thru the 80's. My dad installed the Seeburg 1000 machines and operated the machines during that time and we would go to the business that housed the machines every 3 months and change out a box of these records. The number of records changed at each three-month interval was five (5) in 1961 but was seven according to record boxes issued in 1966 and later. The Mood library consisted of medium slow tempo songs, in a lush arrangements with mostly stringed instruments. The music derived from standards, show tunes and some pop music. The first song on each side of each record was often a current pop hit. These records are in excellent condition but are used. They come in the original sleeves. Numbered on one side as M 05A, M 10A, M 15A, M 20A, M 25A, with the reverse side being the B side. Records are noted PLACE IN USE 10-01-61. Great Collectible. Thanks for Looking.
