Description

You are bidding on an extremely rare 12 inch vinyl pressing of Female Vocalist of the year, And the winner is... by Selena & Los Dinos. Released in 1987 on GP Records & Tapes in San Antonio, TX (GP-1009). The album was produced by Manny R. Guerra famous Tejano prouder, and was recorded at Amen Studios. This album was released after Selena won Female Vocalist of the Year at The Tejano Music Awards, KFLZ 'Que Feliz' Music Awards, West Texas Hispanic Music Awards, and Mike Chavez Music Awards at the age of 15. After this she went on to win this title eight consecutive times at the Tejano Music Awards, branding her "The Queen of Tejano Music".

The record and sleeve are in very good condition. There are a few scratches on the record. These did not cause the record to skip on my record player, but did cause a popping noise when they came in contact with the needle. I have provided a close up photo for your inspection. The pops affect tracks 1 and 2 on side A, and track 2 on side B. The one minor issue with the cover is the front upper right corner, I included a close up pic of this as well.

Overall, this is a great collectible record and a must have for any Selena fan.
