Hello record collectors and vinyljunkies, here we go again with another batch of  LP's this week in aneffort to raise money that I can throw into my bottomless money pit, therestoration of a 1958 Edsel.

Anyway, let's continue withthis one, the self titled debut LP by The Sensational Maytals released by Dynamic Records in 1965. (BMN B/LP 003 Monophonic) Orange Dynamic label with blackprint. 

The Maytals were: Frederick "Toots" Hibbert, Nathanial "Gerry" McCarthy and Henry "Raleigh" Gordon. This LP was recorded in Kingston, Jamaica at Federal Record Mfg. Co. in 1964 - 1965. Supervisor & Musical Director was Byron Lee, Recording Engineers: Tom Dowd and Richard Khouri.

The Sensational Maytals!! Sensational they certainly are as this group of singers made a meteoric rise to fame with the development of SKA approximately a year ago. Since then they have come out with no less than six number one hits. In fact every tune they have recorded to date has been on the Jamaican Hit Parade and among them, the most popular have been; "Pain In My Belly" "Dog War" "Daddy" "It's You" "Never You Change" and "My New Name." This album includes the last four...

All of the tunes in this album are originals composed by this group of talented performers. These compositions are actually taken from genuine incidents out of their lives, and in view of this, they are able to apply true 'Soul' to each one. It is no wonder that this group is idolised and worshipped by many entertainers today - The Sensational Maytals!!

Both LP and cover are in very good condition. The LP has no marks! Cover has some age discoloration on the back, light ring wear and an old price written on the front but otherwise it has no seam splits, cut out marks, rips, tears or other flaws.

I grade on a stricter scale thanGoldmine! (or at least the watered down version that seems to exist here oneBay). I'll take the time to describe any flaws rather that give a letter gradethat means something different to seemingly every record seller and buyer...I've received too many LPs graded by sellers VG++ or NM that were pretty beat up, and I'm willing to bet it's happened to your too.

Sorry if the cover looks washed outin the photo below…this is caused by a reflection from the camera flash… thecolors are brighter and bolder in person.

I do not charge any"shipping" or "handling" fees... you pay what the postoffice charges me.  I usually ship within 48 hours of receiving Payment.

Overseas shipping is by Air Mail Only(surface mail is not available!) Shipping for one LP to Canada is $7.00, Mexicois $11.00. Anywhere else in the world is $14.00. Overseas shipping is byregular air mail and can take anywhere from one and four weeks toarrive.  I do combine shipping for overseas purchases also - I will sendan invoice with the shipping amount if purchasing more than one LP.

Sorry, I no longer ship to Italy orthe Russian Federation due to the high number of "LOST"packages.

All records are mailed in cardboardrecord mailers with cardboard inserts to prevent damage. LP will beremoved from cover for shipping to prevent seam splits while intransit.
