Sepultura - Beneath the Remains - 1989 - Original Pressing on Roadracer Records, (RO 9511-1).
The album that changed it all for these Brazilian thrash metal maestros. Beneath the Remains ended up being a game changer for them, including some of their most fast paced, hard hitting songs that truly revealed their capabilities as musicians in both technical proficiency and song writing ability. This album has become quite scarce over the years and is now considered to be a classic by everyone in the metal community. Grab yourself a rarity!
The album cover is in VG condition. There is some creasing to the spine, large crease on the front bottom left corner of the sleeve, bottom and top seams have wear. No rips, seam splits, tears or writing to be found.
The inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is quite a lot of foxing or mottling to the white inner sleeve with some discolouration and wear. No rips, seam splits or tears to be found, however there is a small amount of writing in the top right hand corner.
The record is in VG condition. There is quite a surface marks and scuffs, especially with one mark that goes all the way across the third and fourth tracks on Side One, this mark does not cause any issues with playback. The labels have no writing, rips, tears or writing, but there are quite a few spindle marks around the spindle hole on Side Two.
The record has been professionally cleaned by myself on a Pro-Ject VC-S2 ALU record cleaning machine and comes supplied with a polypropylene outer sleeve for the album cover and a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab inner sleeve for protection of the record. These sleeves are favoured among audiophiles and collectors alike for long term preservation of vinyl albums.
This package will be sent by Royal Mail. The type of delivery method is: Royal Mail Tracked 24. It will come to a total of £3.99. It is imperative for not just me, but the buyer to have a delivery service with tracking, so we can both make sure the record arrives promptly and safely. It is a small price to pay to avoid any major upset about a missing package.
I will be using a strong mailer with stiffeners and a fragile sticker to ensure that everything is safe and secure before dispatch. The record will be removed from its sleeve and placed behind it to avoid any potential seam splits during transit. This all comes free of charge.
