Description

This is the Original First Pressing from 1956 of Serge Chaloff (1923-57) featuring Sonny Clark (1931-63) Philly Joe Jones (1923-85) and Leroy Vinnegar(1928-99). With Chaloff’s passing the year after this recording was made, it became an immediate Jazz Classic and Collector's Item. The condition of this album is the following: Cover VG a few small corner bumps, storage wear and a couple small splits, one fixed with clear tape, has original inner Capitol sleeve. Record Condition on vinyl is numerous paper scuffs and a few light scratches, and it has been played, labels are good with spindle marks.Would rate this as G+ to VG- This is NOT an audiophile copy but because of the rarity it is priced accordingly.
