Description

Superlative jazz classic by the great Baritone Saxophonist Serge Chaloff featuring Piano Genius Sonny Clark (whose name is misspelled as Sonnie on the label(s)). This is a reissued LP as evinced by:

  • Matrix / Runout (Runout, Side 1, Etched): 3972 T 742 - 1 (A) S-45827 DeBes
  • Matrix / Runout (Runout, Side 2, Etched): 3972 T 742 - 1 (B) S-45828 DeBes
  • (Matrix number on runout, side 2 is written twice because the first noted is wrong. Identifier S-45828 has a 9 overwritten over the last 8, so in an outer runout groove, this number is correctly written again) Release year is not stated.

  • The wax is in VERY GOOD+ approaching EXCELLENT Condition. You will see a few light, unfeelable hairlines and scuffs on both sides. Continuously full and beautiful playback is unaffected. The wax is still quite lustrous on both sides, too. The Sleeve is EXCELLENT. Nice and glossy. A couple of small dings at edge and corner. A small crease is present front bottom right. A spot of discoloration on the front and back, nearly indiscernible. No rips, splits or tears.

Stored inside a smoke free, music loving home. Questions, comments, observations? Feel free to message me. Payment is kindly expected within 24 hours of your winning bid. Kindly message me with any issues you may have. I will do my best to get you into the solution.
