Description

An original, 1971 copy of the 'Histoire De Melody Nelson' French Philips stereo LP by Serge Gainsbourg.
Side A Matrix Number: '6397020 1 + 380'.
Side B Matrix Number: '6397020 2 380'.
The disc has a few fine surface marks on both sides with just a few discrete fine surface scratches on side B. Both labels have no spindle marks. The sleeve has mild wear and creasing. I have included plenty of photos to illustrate the condition.

I've played this record again and there is some crackling over some of the spoken or quieter passages, consistent with visual inspection.
Someone has pointed out to me that this is probably a 1979 pressing. I did some research and I think they're right. I went by the '1971' printed on the label but a 1971 pressing would be very rare. If you were looking for a 1971 first pressing and want to withdraw your bid then I will understand.
