Description

Set Fire To Flames way long out of print "Sings Reign Rebuilder" 2XLP released on Alien 8 in 2001. Only played once. Out of print. Original copy in near mint condition. This copy comes with all inserts: the beautiful booklet and the Alien8 "Upcoming" Recordings post card. This LP is a must for fans of godspeed you black emperor,  do make say think...basically anything put by Constellation Records. 
Something like 6 members of this 13 piece ensemble are part of Godspeed! You Black Emperor, and Set Fire To Flames does little to hide their connection to that band, producing the same theatrical crescendos for glide guitars and string quartets, and found spoken word elements backed by dark drones. Set Fire To Flames  produced an album that many considered better than the last Godspeed last album, "Raise Your Skinny Fists..."  Many of their tracks are very minimalist in nature, filled with ambient noise and various other non-musical sound effects, juxtaposed or combined with instrumental music.
