Complete set of 3 Columbia 12 inch, single sided Radio Transcription records, featuring Johnny Walker & His Rollickers.

This is Program No. 5, In Three Parts (A,B and C)

All 3 records are heavy, single side, laminated Columbia pressings, and visually and aurally are in flawless "near mint" condition. These are original 78rpm issues for radio station use from around 1929-1930.

Each record has a orchestra with vocal chorus song and the announcer plugging the Columbia Tele-Focal radio receiver,

Part A, Record 91952, starts the program with announcer talking about the Columbia Phonograph Company and their "crowning achievement" the new Tele-Focal radio receiver. The announcer then says "Johnnie Walker and his Rollickers open this program with the college hit Betty Coed" , which is followed by the orchestra with vocal chorus version of the song.

Part B, Record 91953 starts with a nice introduction of Johnny Walker and his Rollickers and "special guest artist" Irving Kaufman, followed by the ballad "Tommorow Is Another Day". This record ends with an ad for the Tele-Focal radio as the "greatest advance in radio engineering" and "a new thrill of adventure through the ether...".

Part C, Record 91954 starts with a short introduction of "Kitty From Kansas City" an upbeat dance number with some great solos. The announcer ends this record and the program with "If you enjoyed this program by Johnnie Walker and his Rollickers, listen for other programs sponsored by the Columbia Phonograph Company, makers of the Tele-Focal Radio, the receiver with no dead spots on the dial".
