The Sex Pistols – Anarchy in the UK, 1976 7” EMI 2566, Chris Thomas production credit on both sides, in black PS.

This is a nice example of Anarchy in the UK / I Wanna Be Me by The Sex Pistols. It was released on the EMI label in 1976 – EMI 2566 – and is in Near Mint condition. Both sides state ‘produced by Chris Thomas’. The record is in its original black ‘picture’ cover. This has some ring wear, some creasing at the top and is split on the bottom edge. Which means it grades as just VG, but it is the original cover and it is in worse condition than the record because it was in a box of singles that was used a lot. This one was probably not played more than a couple of times but as the owner flipped though the covers, over time it acquired the creasing etc while the record was protected inside.

It is impossible to be an expert in all realms of collecting, and I am honestly representing this item to the best of my knowledge and ability. If the item has a fault then I have mentioned it. PACKAGING. Please note that all of my items are well-packed in thick card or in boxes, and then wrapped in good quality brown paper. I do not make any separate charge for packaging materials - everything is included in the final price. Many of my feedback comments mention my good packaging and I will of course continue to meet my own standards.

POSTAL DISPUTE - If you are at all worried about the effects of the postal dispute and would like me to delay posting your item please let me know and I will be happy to send it when you want me to. Two years ago, when there were a series of one and two-day strikes the effects were minimal, and although the odd item took a couple of days extra to arrive, I was relieved and am happy to report that everything was perfectly safe at all times. Items being mailed abroad did not seem to be affected at all.
