Description
On offer here is the classic Sex Pistols single on EMI from 1976 called Anarchy in the UK, the B side being I Wanna Be Me. Possibly the best debut ever by a group and what a shock for the pop world!!!
This is the first pressing of this single with the rare black picture sleeve and the Chris Thomas production credit on both sides. Later issues featued Dave Goodman on the B side.
The black picture sleeve is virtually impossible to get in mint condition as the fragile sleeve is normally creased or really worn. I would grade this one as VG+, the best I have ever seen with minimal sleeve wear and very light corner creases. It probably is one of the last decent sleeves out there.
The record has been played quite a few times, and why not, it was a punks priority back in '76 and still is now. Both sides in the dead wax are a little crackly, Anarchy plays brilliantly, would grade as VG+, I Wanna be Me plays Good to VG with occassional crackle but still more than listenable.
A fantastic chance to buy one of punks most collectable and listenable singles.
£5.00 start and no reserve.
