Sex Pistols: Flogging A Dead Horse LP
I bought this when it was originally released back in 1980 and it has been very well looked after as part of my personal record collection ever since.
The sleeve is in excellent condition for a 40 year old record, with a sharp fully readable spine (see photos). Barely any edge wear and it has been kept in a poly lined inner-sleeve to protect the vinyl from the damage caused by sliding the record in and out a regular inner.
I have just cleaned it in my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L'Art Du Son fluid so it is now free from dust and static and in the best possible condition ready for the new owner to enjoy. On close scrutiny under very bright light you can see a few hairlines on each side, but nothing to affect the sound it’s in lovely condition. I just test played it all the way through on both sides on my Project Debut Carbon turntable fitted with Ortefon 2M Blue stylus. It sits perfectly flat on the deck and now cleaned plays through beautifully with only the merest hint of very light crackle on the run ins. Sounds like it was bought yesterday!
