Description
This is a great opportunity to own a piece of punk history at a reasonable price! It's the first pressing of the Sex Pistols 'God Save The Queen' UK 7" single on the Virgin label (catalogue number VS181), as it has the A1 B1 matrix numbers in the run-off grooves.
Because this is the first issue, both the Picture Sleeve and the labels of the single are also 'silver on blue' as opposed to the 'white on blue' of later pressings.
The picture sleeve is in Very Good- condition (a couple of minor splits have been repaired by small pieces of clear tape, and there is some very faint writing at the top-left on the front). The disc is also visually in Very Good- condition (again, it has some faint writing on the B-side label), but sounded great when I tested it and didn't jump.
