Original 1st Pressing copy - (12 - Track Version) - 1977.
White Label, Test Pressing.
Plain White Card Sleeve with full track listing and timings listed on one side.
Black paper inner sleeve with Virgin Records logo
White inner sleeve printed with - MADE IN ENGLAND R.S. 9-77.
SPOTS001 - (12 - Track Version Vinyl Album) - UK - 1977, - A7 2/5 - B5 2/5 - TP Matrix.
Disc plays through fine on both A. and B. sides, - VG+ Plain White Sleeve and both inners have some handling wear only. - VG
A unique opportunity to own a piece of true Punk Rock history.
This copy being a White Label test pressing makes it one of the very first (12 - Track Version ) copies of this iconic LP and not many will have been pressed or have survived in this or any condition.
This is a reluctant sale, but having collected for over 40 years i need to slim down my collection.
(Please note) -
I also have a White label copy of the (11 - Track) LP version.
This is in a similar condition to the (12 - Track) LP listed here but comes in a plain Black card sleeve, with a Brown paper inner sleeve with full track list and a White inner sleeve printed with - MADE IN ENGLAND R.S. 9-77.
(Note) - The 11 - Track version listed finishes 24/12/24.
Bought this copy along with the other listed, (11 - Track Version) copy quite a few years back from a guy who had worked in the music industry for many years.
He recalled that these copies were sent out early to radio stations to promote the forthcoming revised (12 - Track Version) album and were packaged in the plain White sleeve due to the well documented problems they were having printing the correct running order of the tracks and the refusal of various record plants not wanting to press the vinyl or print the sleeve due to the nature of the offensive title and the dislike of the band and their music.
The (12 - Track Album) copy listed here is the 2nd revised version of the 2 copies, that came out a few weeks after the (11 - Track Album) copy and has the final full track listing including the track - (Submission).
