Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols. Original 1st Pressing copy - 1977
White Label, Test Pressing,
(Promotional Copy),
Plain Black Card Sleeve with (Promotional Copy - Not For Sale), Sticker on one side.
Brown paper inner sleeve with Virgin Records label with full track listings and times.
White inner sleeve printed with - MADE IN ENGLAND R.S. 9-77
SPOTS001 - (11 - Track Vinyl Album) - UK - 1977, A3 / B1 TP Matrix.
Disc plays through fine on both A. and B. sides, VG+ Plain Black Sleeve and both inners have some minor handling wear only.
A unique opportunity to own a piece of true Punk Rock history.
This copy being a White Label test pressing makes it one of the very first copies of this iconic LP and not many will have been pressed or have survived in this or any condition.
This is a reluctant sale, but having collected for over 40 years i need to slim down my collection.
Bought this copy quite a few years back from a guy who had worked in the music industry for many years.
He recalled that these copies were sent out early to radio stations to promote the forthcoming album and were packaged in the plain Black sleeves due to the well documented problems they were having printing the correct running order of the tracks and the refusal of various record plants not wanting to press the vinyl or print the sleeve due to the nature of the offensive title and the dislike of the band and their music.

I also have White label copy of the 12 - Track LP version including the extra track (Submission).
This is in a similar condition to the 11 - Track LP, but comes in a plain White card sleeve, with a Black Virgin inner sleeve.
The 12 - Track version will also be listed for sale soon
The 11 - Track copy listed here is the rarer version of the 2 copies given that it came out a few weeks before the 12 - Track copy and was quickly deleted and replaced by the 12 - Track version.
