This album was purchased 10 years ago this year and was sold as an original SPOTS copy, hence a premium price being paid for it back then.
The 30th anniversary reissue was then shipped out by the seller. It is still in it's original postage mailer used in that purchase and has just been rediscovered having been stored away in with other record mailers in dry storage since and the buyer decided to check through the excess mailers before taking 6 huge boxes of them to the tip, and found half a dozen with albums still in them. Must have been hiding them from his wife in haste as we all do! 🤣
A case was opened with eBay but no refund was issued as the seller simply sent the photos of the item on the listing and claimed that what was sent, leaving the buyer around £700 out of pocket. eBay were supposedly going to monitor his activity as there had been 2 previous complaints in the previous couple of months apparently but that's as much as they did to assist the buyer.
He no longer has his record collection after selling as a job lot to a dealer having lost his job but has asked me to list this on his behalf so he can have a night out at some point to drown his sorrows.
Both records are mint and unplayed and the poster has just been opened for the photos. The shrinkwrap and anniversary sticker were already removed by the original seller before shipping to the buyer.
