Description
Artist: Sex Pistols
Record: Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols
Format: 12" LP
Matrix codes: A-3 / B-1
Sleeve condition: Good plus. Wear as pictured, plus the bottom seam needs a bit of glue.
Vinyl condition: Good plus. Let's be realistic, the original owner was unlikely to have kept this in pristine condition, and clearly this LP has been played a lot as there is surface noise here and there, notably in the quieter sections (some might say what quiet sections?!?!) such as between tracks but still a great listen and great cranked up! Close to very Good in some parts.
Notes: A lot has been written about the first pressings and there are a lot of different variants out there its seems however I can confirm this particular LP features:
- 11 tracks - no "Sub-mission"
- Song titles on the sleeve
- Sid Vicious given songwriting credits on "Holidays In The Sun" and "Bodies"
- A date stamp inside the sleeve of "12 DEC 1978"
- What I'm assuming is the original sleeve is just a plain white sleeve
- There is no 7" single or poster included as per the SPOTS release (not to say they weren't included originally, just that I don't have them so can't confirm whether this is a SPOTS release), so what you see is what you get.
This LP has been cleaned using a professional Okki Nokki record cleaning machine and I have put this LP into a new poly lined inner sleeve.
I am a record collector myself and these records are unwanted records or duplicates from collections I have obtained. As a collector, I am sympathetic towards other collectors requiremets and try to be as fair and honest as possible. Please note the following prior to purchasing:
- All records I am selling are are secondhand, so will have varying signs of use.
- Please assess photographs for condition, however note these are not exhaustive.
- I don't have time to listen to every record I am selling so on some less valuable LP's I will assess via their visual condition and grade accordingly.
- In light of the above I will spot play sections from every LP I do sell just to be sure my visual grading is correct. If I believe a record is worse than I have described then I will contact the buyer before dispatch to confirm they are happy to accept.
