I am not a dealer, simply decided to get rid of my record collection (See my other items).

All records have been played to check playability.

I have devised the following Grading system.

GRADING

Excellent (Ex)

Cover – shows signs of minor wear & creasing

Record – slight superficial marks that do not affect play

Very good (V.G..)

Cover – normal wear & tear on the cover, light ring wear for example

Record – shows marks & light scratches that do not have a major effect on the sound quality

Good (G)

Cover – has scuffing of edges, ring wear, large split spine etc

Record – mild scratches will distort the sound quality

Fair (F)

Cover – torn, stained, scuffing, folding etc

Record – plays well but has pops and clicks, may jump

Poor (P)

Cover – badly damaged, heavy signs of wear

Record – will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise
