Description
From my personal vinyl record collection bought throughout the 1970s and 1980s, unplayed since the early 1980s until now. An Ultra Rare copy of the 'Sex Pistol's' bootleg demo 1977 release limited edition 'Spunk' album vinyl pressing, recorded from sessions in 1976 and early 1977, in one of the original first 'edition cover sleeves' which were sold in a variety of versions, either hand made by the label, distributor or retailer, and this is one of those versions sold by a retailer in the Portobello Road area, London back in 1977, when I acquired it.
This original UK bootleg version was rushed released in September 1977 before the official release of "Never Mind The Bollocks" sometime in October 1977. The original Inner paper sleeve is the same as used for the official "Never Mind The Bollocks" Virgin released album, with PATENT Nos 1.125.555 (lower left corner) and MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN (lower right corner)
Original BLA-169 copies can be identified by the matrix numbers etched into the run-off grooves:-

Original cover sleeve is in excellent condition with some faint ring marking, and the original white inner paper sleeve is in very good condition with some slight yellowing and the odd crease. Vinyl output play is excellent, with both sides playing well, all tracks have normal minor crackle, and little sign of wear. Vinyl material is in super condition, with very faint scuffing on both sides, however this does not cause any problems with output play. Vinyl 'BLANK' labels on both sides are looking very good, with minor fraying around the centre hole of side 2.
