Description
This is the very 1st issue of Sex Pistols' Anarchy in the UK single on EMI catalogue no. 2566, which was very quickly withdrawn when the mis-credit was spotted on the b-side I Wanna Be Me. This has that rare mis-credit of Chris Thomas named as b-side producer when later editions correctly credited Dave Goodman for b-side.
In fact, Anarchy on EMI is rare enough in itself as the entire print run was quickly withdrawn following a boardroom revolt at dusty old EMI when they realised what they'd signed up. Pistols then marched off to sign for Virgin.
Officially released 26 November 1976 and bought in Scarborough on that day.
Labels - great condition as has not been played for 40+ years. Has the spindle marks as you'd expect in centre hole.
Cover - great condition, no splits, a few small marks as expected.
V hard to find this issue with b-side error, especially in this condition.
