Sex Pistols - The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle - Virgin Records, VD2510 - 1979

This is the double album version of the soundtrack. The back of the gatefold sleeve features the Bambi and crossbow photograph with red text above the photo and blue text below. The version of God Save the Queen Symphony is the one with Malcolm McLaren's soundtrack over the top. The original 28cm x 28cm adjusted track listing is also included, although this, like the listing on the sleeve, is not accurate. The actual track listing is noted below. Also included is a 24 page broadsheet sized newspaper from 1980 with the heading 'The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle: A Novel By Michael Moorcock'.

The album cover shows no signs of wear and tear other than for a couple of small creases and a handful of very small indentations. There is a sticker on the front of the sleeve that reads, 'Sex Pistols Film Soundtrack featuring 21 new tracks'. The insert has a few creases on one side. The newspaper has yellowed slightly and has a few very small corner creases but is otherwise in pristine condition. The vinyl records are also in excellent condition and are free of scratches or other marks. The album has been in my record collection since I purchased it when released and it subsequently spent over twenty years boxed, and in dust-free storage, while I was working overseas.

Please also note that on Record 2 there are four very small lumps of raised vinyl. When the needle passes over the lumps on tracks 14 and 17 there is a jump and when it passes over track 23 there are three or four audible clicks. Track 21 is fine.
