Rare Original 1977 UK Pressed Lp Housed In A Dayglo Yellow/Pink Sleeve With Correct Reproduction Of Jamie Reid's Original Artwork (ie: Primitive Black Lettering, Quickly Printed With Holes In The Plain Black Of The 'T', 'B' And 'S').

The Album Was Pressed On The ‘Virgin’ Sky-Blue Label With ‘2 Virgins’ Logo To Bottom (V2086) And 'Chris Thomas & Bill Price' Production Credits On Labels.

The Lp Is Also Auctioned With A Near Mint 1-Sided Vinyl Press Of ‘Submission’ With Correct VDJ-24-A2 Marking In Run-Out Groove (See 2nd Photo Below).

 

The Album Shows 11 Tracks On The Rear Of Cover Though The Lp Actually Plays 12 Tracks ? (Both Cover And Record Carry The V2086 Matrix Number)

 

The Album Also Has A Large Glossy Fronted Promo Photo Of The Art Work To The ‘God Save The Queen’ 45rpm Included, The Professional Photo Was In The Lp When I Brought It Nearly 20 Years Ago From A Dealer Who Never Noticed It Inside The Cover (I have Included Below A Photo Of The Rear Of The Promo Photo With Typed Sticker).

Records Are Graded Vinyl 1st, Cover 2nd… I Grade My Items Using The Standards Set By Record Collector Magazine In The UK.

 

MINT……The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.

 

EXCELLENT……The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And  Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And/Or Creasing.

 

VERY GOOD+ ……The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
