mobileholmes Store The mono pressing of SPLHCB has quite a few differences from the stereo version, and is a must-listen. The mono versions are the ones that the artists most often heard and approved in the '60s. They were the radio play versions and most important for the success (or failure) of the record. This is the 1st US Capitol MAS-2653 pressing. The outside jacket is VG+ with rub-wear. The inside has a stain. The wavy-red inner sleeve is here and NM. The Peter Blake cutout insert is Mint. The vinyl is VG++ and plays fantastic. With a mono cartridge, it plays mint. Visually, it has some superficial scuffs/hairlines (not too many) that are from the inner sleeve. Very clean looking, with all the lustre, and nothing that goes down into the groove.
