Highly sought after UK 1st pressing of Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles - UK 1st Press - PCS 7027
Vinyl - Near Mint Sleeve - Near Mint Inlay - Near Mint
This came out of a collection of Easy Listening and Classical stuff, pretty much all of which was Near Mint and i don't think this has been played more than a couple of times and for the last 57 years it's been kept locked away and preserved.
It's an absolute stunner and when i opened it it had that cracking crisp sound you get with brand new stuff.
Very very light shelf wear scuffing if i wanted to be hyper critical and the slightest signs of ring wear.
The vinyl has very very light sleeve removal scuffs. There's no spindle marks on the label which is absolutely pristine and i've never seen a better copy.
The matrix marks are: (See Images)
YEX 637 - 1 Stampers - 2 GMR YEX 638 - 1 Stampers - 1 GAR
It has the embossed tax code of KT either side of the spindle hole on side 1 (See Images)
I am aware that the UK 1st press has the marbled inner sleeve and this one has a plain white inner.
As far as i can tell it has all the same features as UK 1st press but no marbled inner sleeve so maybe it's a slightly later 1st pressing or the inner sleeve has been lost but i don't think that would be the case looking at the collection and the fact it's barely been touched.

The insert is also Mint.
