Description

Shades Of Deep Purple, Vinyl LP, 1968, PMC 7055. Record and sleeve in worn condition - fairly heavy scratching visible on both sides. Inspected visually only - not tested or recently played so sold as seen without guarantee.

On 05-Apr-08 at 12:58:14 BST, seller added the following information:

Due to interest, record has now been played for testing purposes. Record lies flat on deck and plays right through both sides okay without jumping or skipping. There is however a repeating scratch on both sides as well as a fair amount of background crackle from other smaller marks. The sleeve is actually in fairly good overall condition. There is no tearing or ripping or any writing and it is firmly stuck together. There is some handling wear on the corners and along the opening side. There is minor damage to the cover where it has been creased (especially around the bottom right - near the EMI logo) which has caused the laminate coating to lift along the crease lines. The inner sleeve is one of the CBS Records "The Inner Sleeve" newspaper style variety.
