Description

I'm selling my entire record and memorabilia collection over the coming months. I have built it up over 40 years and now is the time to let it go.
This is a superb UK copy of Shades of Deep Purple on the yellow/black Parlophone label, stereo.
PCS 7055.  Matrix YEX 689-1 and YEX 690 -1. Mothers 1 O  / 1  O
The condition of the vinyl is EX. Graded in the blazing sunlight this morning showed up the inevitable hairlines but that's all. The heavy-duty vinyl has a wonderful sheen to it. I bought this about 25 years ago and have not played it ever. The original shop grading on the plastic sleeve says nr mint. But I am loath to grade a 50 year old LP as nr mint. I usually grade to maximum VG++ - but this record is exceptional.
Labels are perfect but for a few spindle marks.
The sleeve is almost EX I's say, so VG++. Four good corners with the ever-so-slight beginning of scuff/rounding, probably from pulling it in and out of the protective plastic cover I have had it stored in. Some very slight creasing. Garrod & Lofthouse flipback. No rips, tears, stains, writing. The slight beginning of ring-wear on the front, but hardly noticeable.
Plain white inner.
Spine is perfect, with the correct spinched-in corners.
Overall the condition of this LP is superb, and it's just over 50 years old!
