Description
Shado -Evil City/Tell You I Know -Montrose (1974 UK)
Condition: Note the condition isn't fantastic. I would rate it overall around Good +. I have provided a full sound clip of the A side. Although it looks pretty much VG+, there is some crackling during the first 20 seconds or so of the A side, the rest of the side plays pretty much VG+. The weak B side does not play well with a near permanent click and crackling. There is a name on the A side label. This is an opportunity to get a listenable copy at a bargain price.
Evil City is perhaps my favourite track on the no longer available Do What Thou Wilt comp Evil City is a furious fuzzed up rocker with somehow reminds me of Radio Birdman with added pathos, but the B side is more laidback kind of like Ralf McTell walking though a forest. Shado were a complete bunch of unknowns as far as I know..

Grading. I don’t use the term Mint. I don’t believe that records manufactured over 30 years ago, even if unplayed, can be called mint.
Grading: Record/Cover
EX: Means either “near mint” to some light very marks with hardly any noticeable noise. Sleeve has no or only minor wear.
VG: Means means some light noticeable background sound and more pronounced marks which do not affect the listening experience in a major way. Sleeve may be creased, minor discolouring, the odd fraying, some ringwear, seam split and perhaps some writing.
G: Means noticeable clicks or pop, may have scratches, but doesn’t skip or jump. Sleeve may be ripped, tape repair, large writing, sticker removal damage etc...
Fair: Not a pleasant listening experience, the disc is damaged, just a stop gap before upgrading. Sleeve is badly damaged, not one to frame on the wall...
Poor: I don’t sell records in poor condition
All records sent out in professional mailers with 2 stiffeners. Records removed from sleeve if housed in picture sleeve.
I retain proof of postage for all items. High value packages will be insured. Insurance at cost
