Sahib Shihab ' Jazz Sahib ' SAVOY MG 12124 (USA) red label with deep groove - rec. in New York on 1957 - original 1957 issue - on trail-off (dead wax) has the 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder Sahib Shihab : baritone sax - Phil Woods : alto sax - Benny Golson : tenor sax - Hank Jones (side A) or Bill Evans (side B) : piano - Paul Chambers (side A) or Oscar Pettiford (side B) : bass - Art Taylor : drums Side A : S.M.T.W.T.F.S.S. Blues - Jamila - The moors (Liston) Side B : Blu-A-Round - Le' sneak - Ballad to the East (Liston) All compositions by Sahib Shihab except as indicated Visual grading : record is EX full lustre has minimal wear. Clean labels with very light spindle wear Playing grading : record is EX plays very well with loud and clear sound. Has few very light occasional ticks and a minimal occasional background noise much below the music's level Cover grading : cover is VG+ has light wear. Top and bottom right corners have been repaired for seam split. The laminated front cover is clean and spine is nice with all titles well readable. Back cover has few small stains on topI am selling here records from my own private collection. I have not a store or a website. I am not a record dealer.
