Description
Offered for auction is an original LP of Shakatak recorded Live in Japan in 1983 at the Nakano Sun Plaza Hall in Tokyo. This double vinyl LP was released on the Polydore label in Japan only and has never been released in CD format. It is understood that the original master tapes were sold by Polydor to a division of EMI sometime ago. Some of the tracks on this double vinyl set were released on the single LP and CD "Live" released in 1984.
The vinyl itself is in excellent condition and shows no signs of age or deterioration in play quality. The gatefold sleeve has some wear to the corners with age but still retains the original OBI strip and lyric sheet (In Japanese). For anyone who has followed Shakatak this will be the missing jewel in their collection potentially.
