Shakey Jake - Make It Good To You - Good Time
Another hard-to-find listing is this Shakey Jake (Harris) album on the Good Time label. I believe the label was actually another short-lived venture of Shakey Jake's, who was probably as known for his harp & vocals as he was for gambling. He's joined in the studio by a hot band consisting of Hollywood Fats, Lee King, Rod Piazza, Larry Taylor & Sam King. One can also assume William Clarke was present, at least on the track "Jake and Bill Clark" on the B-side. The shrink wrap is still intact, which kept both sides of the cover very clean. Both labels & vinyl are clean showing no imperfections.
All records are sold on an AS IS basis. No returns. I am not a record dealer, so I won't attempt to grade anything I list, as collectors often use different methods of grading. However, I will take note of any imperfections that are visible. I've been a private collector for years and am now listing many rare and hard-to-find blues records.
