Description
A UK 1st press of the debut on Neon from 1971. Matrix 3E/3E. The heavy set vinyl comes houses in an original non-laminated gatefold cover. Also included is the original black die-cut patent no.'s inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex+) In truly beautiful condition and has clearly only seen the lightest use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of superficial very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A beautiful copy by any standard...You're going to need a really clean copy otherwise interference will just hinder the listening experience. Thankfully this copy delivers in all areas. All i am hearing is clean well defined sound - practically no interference. All I could detect were a couple of low-level crackles very briefly at the start of side 2. Apart from this we are talking about a clean, nigh on perfect rendition, for practically the entire record. You won't be finding a copy like this again in a hurry...
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Due to the absence of lamination these covers can end up with a bit of surface wear, but this example is really looking super-fine. The front is very clean and flat without creasing or ageing - one tiny spot of handling over toward the handling. The rear is great too - in fact nigh on perfect. Edge wear is very light for this title. The text on the spine is all legible - just expect a very tiny amount of wear. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. It would really take some doing to better this copy.
Inner (Ex-) Only a one c.m. seam split and a couple of small tears at the die-cut opening.
