Description

One of the harder to find and sought after RCA Neon imprints from 1971, this copy of the sole LP from Shape of the Rain is a great listen, despite some flaws.

The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition with minimal edge wear and a good readable spine. There has been a little careful repair work done on one small section of the centrefold but this is only noticeable if you look closely.

The vinyl does, unfortunately, have some scuffs and marks which affect playability with a couple of brief skips on Side 1 (during fadeout of track 2, and during track 3) and a couple on Side 2 (first track). The rest plays decently with just the occasional pop or low key surface noise that rarely detracts from the music.

Labels are very good to excellent and there is a nice black inner sleeve provided.

All in all, not a copy for audiophiles but a perfectly decent starter until you can find better condition vinyl. It's a rare item, but I'm starting it at a reasonable £29.99 due to the vinyl condition.
