SUPER DUPER SCARCE ORIGINAL PRIVATE LABEL PRESS! This 1972 pressing is MEGA RARE and gotten from a music instrument store... often artists would hand over their discs to store owners to play or just as a good will gesture... AAA Swing City music was an early promoter and seller of pro gear in the area and these folks showed their gratitude by giving nearly their entire catalog of this label to Art the owner... he didn't play them, so they have pristine grooves, and the alllllll too rare clean labels! This one has some light shelf wear, about EX/- with clean punchy unplayed grooves. What you are hearing is the unfiltered FLAT eq actual 45... This is as rare and sweet as it gets! TOTALLY OBSCURE east saint louis groups... check out the entire discography from this label in the coming auctions... a TRUE PEARL amongst collectors... LOVE THIS LABEL! ALSO, these are pressed on high quality apparently virgin vinyl, NOT Styrene as many of the reissues and 2nd presses on the ABC label often were... it doesn't get ANY BETTER! This was not mastered as the ABC copy was, resulting in a cleaner punchier sound, which if played, could result in ragged grooves in just a few plays on a typical turntable of the day. These are important documents as direct disc mastered originals, suitable as archival copies, which I have done and as other serious collectors would want to do to conserve this great music!

All conditions and issues are in the AD TITLE, the first rating is the vinyl, the second is the jacket, unless there is one which will be a conservative overall rating. 10 records or more gets free shipping in the US. All records are priced to sell on the first cycle and the prices are researched to be the lowest starting price for the grade of record.

Thanks for coming to my auctions. I have collected for many years and have many great records to sell. I guarantee my ratings. Ebay's DSR ratings are very confusing and many of my friends are no longer on here because they were snuffed out accidentally from nice people leaving bad ratings. Anything less than a 5 is harmful and will get your favorite seller removed! no reserve auctions:                      Ten records or more gets free ship in the US!

WE DIG THE DEEPEST! When in doubt check out youtube for a listen, 'cause these are the coolest and the rarest! What's the big deal about promos?? Well in the case of many major labels, promos were pressed separate from stock copies. In many cases, such as A&M, CBS and MOTOWN etc, they were pressed on pure virgin vinyl, unlike STYRENE which was used for their stock copies. The sound and quality is markedly better and not to mention the rarity of them, in many cases being one out of many thousand copies.
