Description
This is a pretty good copy of the very scarce second album by Shawn Phillips, Texan folk guitarist/singer, who like many others touted his trade on this side of the pond in the mid-sixties. I love this album and rate it amongst the best of the period and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. With the usual smattering of Trad., Ledbetter, and Seeger it is also furnished with a few great compositions of Phillips' own. I've visually rated this VG- / VG-: both sleeve and record have seen a fair bit of play but, as I recall from last playing it before I went totally digital, it played pretty well with not much more than the odd bit of hiss and crackle, but nothing distracting.
