Description
"Bullets In My Gun" b/w "Heartbreak Hotel" by the Sheiks of Shake was released in 1979 by Mystic Records (M-40-109) in Los Angeles. I've seen the band described as a retro garage/psych r&b group and maybe that was true later in their career, but to me the intense "Bullets In My Gun" fits firmly in the late 1970s LA punk rock style. The flip side unfortunately is a pedestrian instrumental run-through of the Elvis tune.
The vinyl is in EX condition, with a bit of background noise discernible. The sleeve is VG with light wear, a gift inscription on the back (seems to be unrelated to anyone in the band), and a large, faint stain on the back that gives it a gritty feel.
