Shel Silverstein and the Red Onions Hairy Jazz 1959 Mono Elektra EKL-176 VG
Original 1959 1st pressing of *Hairy Jazz* by Shel Silverstein and the Red Onions, released by Elektra Records (EKL-176) in mono. A collectible early comedy/jazz LP featuring a mix of humor and vintage jazz standards. Shows notable age and wear, including water damage and writing on the back cover. LP has visible handling, and unknown surface spotting on side 2, but retains good sound quality and should benefit from a deep clean.

CONDITION
Overall good vintage condition with visible wear.
- LP condition: VG Light surface marks; no skips noted minor background pops - I did not reclean this before playing.
- Sleeve condition: G- Generic sleeve with tears
- Cover condition: G+ Water damage (lower back), seam split, writing on back, ring wear, edge wear, surface wear, corner dings, light soiling
- Album was graded using a combination of visual inspection and partial play testing. Playback revealed background noise and wear consistent with grade but no skipping was detected.
