Description
Lovely and hugely impressive second LP folk album from the talented Scottish vocalist and guitarist Shelagh McDonald with a stellar backing including Richard Thompson and Dave Mattacks from Fairport Convention
Keith Christmas, Danny Thompson (Pentangle) Ray Warleigh, Ian Whitman and string and Choral arrangements from Robert Kirby (Nick Drake etc)
produced by Sandy Robertson. - Strangely overlooked at the time , Shelagh McDonald manages to emulate both Joni Mitchell and Sandy Denny particularly on the remarkable title track and "Dowie Dens of Yarrow " Track which is a major tour de force This was her second album for B & C and then later in 1971 following a bad experience with drugs Shelagh McDonald retreated from public view attracting much speculation and rumour until 2013 !!
Perhaps Music fans where listening else where in the early 1970s - How else can you explain the low sales and low profiles for such remarkable artists as Nick Drake and Vashti Bunyan and to that company I would add Shelagh McDonald ...

Condition...
Sleeve - Very Good - Has noticeable wear marks and some wear to the sides. The words on the spine are legible apart from a little bit of the A and Z on the title. There are no splits
Inner sleeve - Good - Has discolouration and marks and shown.

I am happy to accept any returns within 14 working days of you receiving your item(s). I will of course give you a refund. The return shipping fee is at your own cost unless you can prove that an item is faulty or damaged. I recommend that if you use Royal Mail or any other shipping service, to get full tracking as eBay will require this for proof that you have made the return. If an item is lost in the post and you do not provide full tracking, eBay will not require me to give you any form of refund. If you are using a courier service that is not traceable by a tracking number to return your item, be sure to get the full name and phone number of the courier as eBay will require this if your item is not returned to us by the said courier.
