hello. I've been a record collector for many years, and just decided to start eBay with some of my best albums. I am well experienced in grading and descriptions. My son's wife is having a baby, so I'd like to start saving some money for him. as you look at my other items, you will find the prices to be reasonable.
One of the few holy Grails to a serious doo wop collector is this Shep and the limelites our anniversary LP on the original Hull label. here is your chance to get it at a very low price due to the fact that it's more of a filler copy until a better one comes along. either way even in this condition it is quite valuable. the vinyl itself I'd have to grade as a nice strong VG. maybe even a little better. unfortunately the cover has names written on the front and back as well as the label on the actual record. that's something my father decided to do unfortunately LOL. he claims he did this so no one would steal his records at the parties he would go to as a Young Man. who knew how valuable some of these records would be in the future. the top has a full seam split, but the spine is ok and the bottom has a slight split in the middle. I'm sure you can judge for yourself from the pictures. This is a fantastic album and these songs are very hard to find sounding the way they do on the original pressing. only starting it at $0.99 so that you may decide the value. the buy-it-now is 249.98.....and I would recommend taking advantage of that because the only other ones I've seen on eBay are over $700. but of course that's entirely up to you. have a nice day.
