Description

Up for consideration is an ORIGINAL Zen Records pressing of Shingetsu's debut and self-titled album, released in 1978.  I hear their sound compared to Genesis a lot, though I haven't really listened to much Genesis and I personally believe Makoto Kitayama to be a better vocalist than Peter Gabriel.
This album's got some crackles, pops in couple of spots, though that could likely be due to needing a good cleaning.  This album has mainly spent its time displayed on my wall, only being played occasionally.  As far as I know the OBI is the original one; no reason to believe it's a repro or anything like that.  Overall, a really lovely copy of what is, IMO, one of Japan's best Prog Rock offerings of all time.
